Marc D.ParticipantAs person of Indian descent, I have been described as ‘dour.’ Is this a racial stereotype of Indian people?

Steve27678ParticipantI know I will get pilloried for being politically incorrect here, but initially I wasn’t sure what ‘Indians’ you were referring to. If you were referring to Native American ‘Indians,’ I would agree, most I know seem kind of dour. (Not that I blame them!) However, if you are referring to people from India, I couldn’t disagree more. My experience has been that people from India seem almost unnaturally cheerful and lighthearted.
