i’m from africa, congo exacltly and i was wondering, correct me if i’m wrong, but why do most people here in the US really think that african people live in the jungle before they came here? I’m asking this because i get that thing a lot, you know like ‘hey weren’t you afraid of living with lions’ or ‘How did you do to survive in trees’ or even ‘WHAT? you have electricity in Africa?’ and even much more some of them very irritating and disrespectful.
