Reply To: Reply To: Mormon beliefs (on Earth, not Klobb)

Oh, ok. I have done some research since I presented the question here and I have found some really interesting things. Brigham Young, considered to be a TRUE Mormon prophet, claimed that Adam (The first man that God created on Earth. For the people who don’t know about Adam & Eve, Genesis 1-3 will give an understanding of creation and the fall of man…) was God. And I quote from the Journal of Discourses, through Brigham Young’s own words: ‘Now hear it, O inhabitants of the earth, Jew and Gentile, Saint and sinner! When our father Adam came into the garden of Eden, he came into it with a celestial body, and brought Eve, one of his wives, with him. He helped to make and organize this world. He is Michael, the Archangel, the Ancient of Days! about whom holy men have written and spoken — He is our Father and our God, and the only God with whom we have to do. Every man upon the earth, professing Christians or non-professing, must hear it, and will know it sooner or later.’ — Brigham Young Now, it just seems odd to me how the mormon’s can see Brigham Young as a TRUE prophet when he falsely preaches the above. Even though that mormon’s believe that the bible is not the whole word of God, even though that the bible clearly states that it is and Moses warns in Proverbs 30:6: ‘Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.’ — Moses They have gone along with false teachers such as Brigham Young and Joseph Smith for sometime now. Joseph Smith taught that Adam was the Ancient of Days. God’s word and only word, the Bible, teaches that God is the Ancient of Days. The bible also clearly warns, through Jesus’s own words in Matthew 7:15: ‘Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.’ — Jesus Christ Now, a prophet is ‘a person who speaks by divine inspiration or as the interpreter through whom the will of God is expressed’ and truly, bodly and faithfully I can say that Adam was not God, yet God the Father created Adam. Yet Brigham Young and Joseph Smith both teach that Adam was God, the Ancient of Days. They also teach that when people die, they will become their own Gods….? And also that The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit were all seperate…? Quoting Joseph Smith in the Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, Page 370:
