I agree with you in some ways. I think we should respect our parents, because they created us, we wouldn’t be here without them. However, I don’t think that we need to worship them and take everything they say to be right. Personally, I respect my parents and I’m mostly polite, but I form my own opinions. For example, my mum doesn’t like any gay people or anyone from Ireland, just because they are, and I don’t agree with that. I don’t try and change the way she thinks by shouting or using violence, I just say that I don’t agree with that and be civil about it. My parents are people, just like anyone else, so I respect them.
