I guess I have always thought that probably Noah’s wife and the wives of his sons possessed the characteristics of the different races we know today. But most illustrations of Noah and his family depict white people and I think that leads a lot of us to believe that everyone in the past was white with European features, even though that is probably not accurate. It’s like the paintings of Jesus that show him as blond haired and blue eyed. Jesus was born into a Jewish family in Israel. It seems highly unlikely that he would have been a pale-skinned, blue-eyed blonde.
