I agree. Though here also is another thing to think about.Once, before I married my husband, he took me on a date to the movies. After that we went to the store to spend some money from his first paycheck at his new job. I thought that I was priority that evening since we had been dating for a few months. I was dissapointed that night because he spent all of his money on junk, and at that, on himself. I know now that I had no right to expect anything from him at that time, but since then I made it a priority with him to be sure I got his attention. For some women that means getting the money or the things money can buy. I am happily married to him, but at that time I could have been considered a ‘gold digger’ because I associated recieving something equal to recieving attention and acnowledgement.
