I am a white Hispanic. Yes, the word ‘Hispanic’ refers to national origin and not to race, go to http://www.NAACL.com and educate yourself. Maybe you should speak for yourself before getting on your soap box and discussing how ‘Hispanics’ place a lesser emphasis on education. Does that include the 40 million plus white European Hispanics who come from Spain? What about the millions of white Hispanics throughout Latin America. It certainly doesn’t include me as I graduated at the top of my law school class.
