Jason, You post ‘8 We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.’ Ok, so you believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. Who is to say that the book’s that mormon’s follow has been translated correctly? Where are your golden plates that were read out of a hat? Where is your confirmation you’re your “profits” are correct with what they prophesize? Who are you to say that the Bible is in-correctly translated? At least we have the Dead Sea scrolls to review and scrutinize. Give me enough time I can convince anyone of anything, that is what the mormon cult practices. Yes it is a cult, a closed community. Controlling on multiple levels; any group that control’s fundamental information as they do is a cult. When I ask about specifics about what mormon’s believe the response is “…I can’t tell you that.” Or, “…you are not ready to know that.” That’s B.S., I don’t need my religion spoon fed to me and if I hear “you don’t throw pearls before swine” one more time I’m going to snap. It’s nothing but smoke and mirrors to convince people of what they want you to believe. Go to any true religion and ask anyone anything about their practices and believes and they will be happy to share with you. You will not get the response of “…I can’t tell you that.” Or, “…you are not ready to know that.” Furthermore, if you research the book of mormon with scientific eyes you will see that it’s all a farce. Also, why doesn’t the mormon cult publish what business they own, own stock in or operate? I would love to get my hands on that list and boycott those companies. Also, with gathering names of the deceased for baptism; I’m sure those names go on the mormon role making your #’s go up.
