I think the question was not about racism in general, more about the movie itself. I’m not sure you can equate the injustice of decades of slavery to a movie, nor can you really use it as a justification to make fun of white people. I think it will still take time to heal enough as a country in order to laugh good naturedly at the faults and quirks of every race without being labeled a racist.
