I was raised in Canada with a drinking age of 19, in some Provinces 18 (like States). Found that by college most of us had enough of going out to the bars. Most started at 15 with a good fake i.d., some girls even 14. In high school small town my group of friends was large. Most of us kept in touch after graduation. Alot attended the same colleges, etcetera, by 21 it was hard to find one willing bar hop partner, rarely could get more than 2 others to go out. Most common answers either a exam or essay due that needed to be worked on. funny most of the willing participants were the ones who had no social life, straight A’s, worked hard in high school types. So my experience is lower drinking age, more successfull higher learning, and more mature adults. I live in small town America and go out most weekends here and find the bar crowd older, 21 and above, more intoxicated, and less mature than I do when compared to my current outings in Canada with a much younger crowd.
