I am white and agree with your summation. Although it is not pretty many people are raised with racial stereotypes and one is that blacks devalue a neighborhood (unfortunately in many instances this is true in terms of actual dollars) or don’t maintain property as responsibly as whites. I was raised in Atlanta and the ‘all-white’ neighborhood I grew up in is now ‘all-black’, in terrible repair and unsafe if not scary.
