‘I will preach on the plurality of Gods. I have always declared God to be a distinct personage, Jesus Christ a separate and distinct personage from God the Father, and that the Holy Ghost was a distinct personage and a spirit: and these three constitute three distinct personages and three Gods.’ — Joseph Smith
And on page 372 in the same book: ‘Many men say there is one God; the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are only one God. I say that is a strange God anyhow — three in one, and one in three! It is a curious organization. All are crammed into one God, according to sectarianism. It would make the biggest God in all the word. He would be a wonderfully big God — He would be a giant or a monster.’ — Joseph Smith
‘Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.’ — 1 John 3:2
We will indeed be like our Savior, Jesus Christ, but to assume that this means Godhood? The Bible clearly teaches not:
‘Before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.’ — Isiah 43:10
‘But as it is written. Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.’ — 1 Corinthians 2:9
He will always be beyond anything He can give us. We will ALWAYS stand in awe of God, because He alone is God.
Just these things alone prove that Mormonism is false indeed. The Bible alone is the true word of God, and whoever adds to God’s words will be rebuked and made a liar. Mormons have even admitted that Brigham Young was wrong in saying that Adam was God, yet Mormons still hold him as a true prophet. It just doesn’t make any sense.
All non-believers will see that Jesus Christ is God. They will see that the Bible is the only true word of God, and anything that adds onto the Bible, such as the Book of Mormon, is false.
