Everyone who has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is a broken Christian. Jesus hated the sin (and the pain it causes all of us) NOT the sinner. In my opinion, prominent TV ministries show a woeful lack of display of the most important commandment Jesus gave, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and your neighbor as yourself. Jesus has never condoned any sin, and the Bible clearly teachers what those are. Because we have a free will, we can embrace all of those teachings, some of those teachings, or none of those teachings. Perhaps if Christians devoted themselves to the greatest commandment, Love God, love your neighbor, and let the Holy Spirit lead us to any needed changes in our lives, we might not have this chism and and our time and commitment to our relationship with God would certainly build bridges.
