If by ill, you mean that it’s a condition which adversely effects one’s quality of life or psyical health, I don’t see how being gay can be classified as such. (and don’t even bother to play the AIDS card when millions of straight Africans have the disease) If anything, the only problems gay people face come from the outside, from uneducated or immature indivduals. Any anguish and anxiety gay people feel about their orientation is due to their surroundings, not themselves.
