i found your comparison for frizzly hair rather revealing… taco meat??? despite all your above rationale (and i do sympathise with the pains of brushing and combing), it seems to me you simply hate the looks of frizzly hair. personally, i really like it. it just never ceases to amaze me how it has come to be regarded (within the us) as a racial thing – i know a great many white women with fairly to extremely frizzly hair, yet nobody seems to hesitate to associate such hair with blacks only.
