There are five of us that have remained friends since our Catholic high school days in New Orleans. On documents we all circle African American, yet we look different. Three of us are very light skinned with long, curly locks, and the other two are brown skinned. What’s so amazing is that we’ve all graduated from college, and are pursuing second degrees. Where is the social equality or preference in that? So,you see none of us aren’t tryin to be like blacks, we ARE BLACK!
