The issue was, is and will continue to be, institutionalized racism in America…from the glass ceilings in Corporate America, to the mass murders of Black men, by law enforcement officials in major cities across this country, to ‘Good Christian white folk’ who have, and continue to, murder Blacks simply because they’re Black, racism is alive and well. And today’s generation is no less ‘prejudiced’ than it was 50 years ago. White people for the most part, still feel they are superior to Blacks and still feel we are not entitled to share in the ‘American Dream’. As for Blacks celebrating their ‘race’, we do not celebrate our ‘race’, we celebrate one of our GREATEST accomplishments…our ability to have survived, generation after generation, the horrific atrocities committed against us, by country that tried to destroy us. Given that, no one, especially white people in this country, should dare question what we celebrate, or why. Oh, and as for your ‘white’ television stations, they do exist…they’re called ABC, CBS and NBC, CNN…need I go on?
