When I first realized I was a lesbian and started coming out to people, I felt like the center of attention all the time and disliked being anywhere without my friends that I was comfortable with. Now, even though I kind of look like a boy and get called ‘sir’ all the time, I don’t mind people’s reactions and seem to blend in with the crowd again. It just took me a while to get comfortable with myself.
