I work with many Blacks and people of colour. They seem to give off a pungent smell, not from the lotion or perfume they use but I believe it to be from the oily gel that they use on their hair. You can smell it especially in the summer when it’s hot. I know they probably don’t realize it because they are used to it, but it is somewhat offensive to me personally.
