I have to agree with you. I read a book about parasites and it said that lice evolved to fit different hair patterns at a time when humans lived in different tribes and were more homogenous. Therefore a person with hair different from that of the larger population who didn’t have lice in the first place is less likely to get it from the host (pun intended) population. Blacks do get head lice, though. Only bald people are immune. Zoreb
