Brian, I agree with everything you stated. The language is not Ebonics, It’s plantation/slave. Some Africans refuse to speak the English language correctly because they think they are speaking ‘white’. Africans in England that I’ve heard, speak wonderful English. After 400 years, it would seem we’d have it down to a science by now. We don’t and we won’t. This is a futile thread.
