alot of that has to do with ignorance. most of the whites and alot of the blacks where i live think that all hispanics are mexicans. i used to try to explain the fact that we are all very different, for example i’am spanish, my family is from spain, i don’t have dark skin or hair, and most people think i’am white but i’am hispanic, and when i tell them that they say ‘you don’t look mexican!’ i’m not we are all very different, but ignorance is the culprit here.
