It ain’t so much the idea of God being interjected into money, events, etc. (although that’s B.S., too), it’s the fact that according to the U.S. Constitution, church and state should be separate. For the past few years, religion has been encroaching on secular/state affairs, and that’s what burns my rear end. What’s next? The idiots who elected Bush already legalized discrimination in a lot of states by their anti-gay legislation, and they are now contemplating legalizing this same discrimination by making it a constitutional amendment. After they do that, the next thing will be that it is a crime to be something other than their religious persuasion.
