Who are white people to assume that black people have, as you call it, a chip on their shoulder? It is just plain stupid to make assumptions about a group of people that most of you know little or nothing about. In case you’ve forgotten, in my response to your initial comments, I mentioned that I am a native New Yorker, and sorry, but I don’t bump into people. Because I pay attention to where and how I walk. So all this bumping into people is simply due to being intrusive and rude. And yes, I get annoyed when people bump into me, not so much because they bump into me, but because nine times out of 10, it’s because they’re not paying attention to their surroundings, and doing something dumb, like reading a newspaper while walking or looking everywhere but in front of them while walking. The lack of an apology just plain old pisses me off. Anyone can accidentally bump into another person on occassion, but geez. Maybe you need to pay closer attention to where and how you walk, instead of assuming that my people have chips on their shoulders, just because they don’t appreciate rudeness and overall stupidity.
