This is a very good question. As a Muslim I believe and live by every thing in the Holy Quran and traditions of the last prophet. Anything in it I want to implement and strengthen in my life anything not in in I want to discard. In my 10 years of studying this religion, I have seen no instance of the prophet Muhammad killing a innocent man, woman or child. Nevertheless the prophet fought to defend Islam and I believe that Muslims have the right to defend themselves in the manner that the prophet did.
