I think blacks and Hispanics are more willing to get into a shouting match knowing or counting on it not escalating into a fight or a shooting – and it may also be more important to them to save some face by shouting back. Yes? No? I’d really like to know the answer to this. White folks may be thinking that the inevitable conclusion of any confrontation on the road between strangers is a wreck, a fight or death, so they avoid it.
