The reason that there is BET is because *every other station* is White Entertainment Television. The fact that you refer to them as ‘normal’ networks shows that they are White Entertainment Television. All minorities do not have opportunity. If this were so, there would not be huge poverty among Appalachian Whites in the Midwest and blacks in the inner city. A more accurate comment would be to say that ‘Some members of most minority groups have opportunity.’
