Dang if I know. I’m white; my fiance is black. Methinks that they’re afraid that you’ll ‘sully the gene pool’… whatever the heck that means. I’ve read one site reference the idea that human races are like dog races, and they should be kept ‘pure’. I know that, in trying to keep Dalmatians purebred, they’re so inbred that deafness, underslung jaws, and other birth defects are now common. On the other hand, when your gene pool is deep and broad enough, you’re extremely unlikely to get any recessive birth defects.
