I’m familiar with that comment. Actually it meant that white people smell like ‘wet dogs after coming in out of the rain.’ My mother used to say that to me b/c she couldn’t understand why I was attracted to white males. All I know is that it’s supposed to be some specific ‘white people’s smell’ that’s supposed to emanate from them. I don’t agree with the statement, but that’s my understanding of it.
