I’m sorry but you really have it wrong. US is siding with Israel for votes!!!! It’s all politics. The lobying of Jewish Americans is awesome and they use their votes tremendously. There are a lot of strong Jewish leaders all over the country and they use this to the end. There are almost the same amount of Muslims as there are Jews in the US but they either do not vote and they do not get together and pay off the politicians. Israel should not be supported so blindly. The Jews were given that area after WWII as a way for receiving forgiveness for the autrocity of the Nazis. What they were given was the land of the Palestanians. And the Israelie are not peace abiding. They set up camps for Palestanians they were fenced in. Their schools were closed down, etc etc. The list is long and terrible. Throughout the US made them more and more rich with weapons and everything else. In a way Israel is a puppet nation of the US in the middle east. But it has gone too far and needs to be stopped. For every Israelie person killed there are 15 Palestanian killed. Where is the religion and the ‘holly land’ idea in that?
