No, that’s not okay, because to say that is to not understand where the word stems from. The black panthers started calling eachother that in order to stop the pain the word caused them. They thought that maybe if they used it in a non-hurtful manner, the racists would stop using it. So please don’t use that word, even in a playful manner, it is very hurtful. In fact, I hate it when black people use that word for eachother, it is no longer needed to make that statement, now it just causes confusion!
