Chris Rock put it best when he said, ‘When you see a guy on the news for dropping a stolen stereo on a cop’s foot, he’s probably black; if you see a guy on the news who got caught raping his grandmother’s corpse, he’s probably white.’ I live in a largely Hispanic area, and I’ve been called a ‘molester’ several times. What’s worse is that moms – black moms in particular – shield their kids from me when they see me coming. And I’m real good with kids! In the movie Crooklyn, there’s a creepy white character who, I hate to say, I really identified with. I was caused to think, ‘Is that what I look like?’ And it’s all because of a handful of sickening pigs like Jeffrey Dahmer.
