Are you saying that all colored men are opportunistic, misogynistic jerks who are incapable of the finer emotions of love, trust, affection and partnership? Well, I am an ‘East Indian’ guy who has been in a very serious relationship with a brunette of white/Caucasian ancestry for six years. And the only reason we have been together this long is not because I think she is a ‘trophy’ of some sort (it makes me want to puke just thinking that I’m using that word). Rather, she is the only person I have ever been with and my best friend, essentially because we relate to each other in a way we never have with anyone else. I play guitar for a heavy metal band and want to make my career in this field. None of the Indian women I knew were willing to accept me for this interest. But my significant other was. On the other hand, none of the white guys she had dated were willing to support her ambitions to become an actress. And I’m willing to give my life for this passion of hers. So why does it seem so hard for you to believe that a white girl and a non-white guy can make a relationship work purely because they are in love and relate to each other’s passions?
