It’s been over a year since I posted the original question, and I still get harassed multiple times a day by men of all races. No, I haven’t seen the light and realized how racist and awful I am. I still do get harassed by a large percentage of Latino men. But thanks in large part to the ridiculous responses of people on this website (who told me that I had no confidence in myself and deserved the harassment I received on the street), I’m part of a group of women of color organizing a rally and march to educate women in the neighborhood about street harassment and how to confront their harassers. Thanks to all who responded – positively or negatively.
