But the question to ask is why their color is the most ‘obvious’ distinguishing feature to you? If a person is just a person regardless of color why can’t you just say the guy with the red shorts? Wouldn’t that get your point across just the same? I wouldn’t be offended if I was with you and you said the black guy, b/c that is a remark based on a comparison and therefore relavent to the discussion. What I don’t like, is when people refer to color when it is completely irrelavent.
