I completely agree with you on this. I think it has everything to do with class. Its like the poor have more to lose than the wealthy because your family member may end up in the ER and the wealthier people are saying do whatever you can do fix them it doesnt matter, while the poor could lose their house over the price of the surgery that needs to be done.
