I’m sorry for your experiences. I hope it improves> Perhaps, somebody (you or your husband) needs to tell them that if they continue to act unkindly, they will not see much of their son and you, then act accordingly. I did that with my mother (who was very hypercritical) and she finally changed her tune. YOur right, Christians certainly have no monopoly on intolerance. I know Orthodox Jews who are less than tolerant of the rest of us, but I”m unaware of institutionalized persecution of Christians by Jews on the scale of the Holocaust, Crusades & Spanish Inquisition. One could argue about Jewish treatment of Palestinians, but at least that is in self-defense and protection of our homeland. We don’t do suicide bombings. Just Curious
