As a person living in Denmark (where gays and lesbians are allowed to marry) I must agree. Society didn’t fall to pieces when it was allowed. Maurading bands of lesbians didn’t roam the streets, marrying helpless victims. The sky didn’t fall. In short, society is just as boring as before. Once it was legal to marry, people generally lost interest in discussing the matter. The people who now was able to marry was happier, and I suspect that the opponents of gay marriage was secretly pleased that the gays now had one thing less to publicly complain about.
