Who said flattery isn’t cool? Who said it is stupid and insulting? In some cultures, flattery is required! And what has that to do with the original question about the happiness of Canadian men? Cultures vary amazingly, even when they are otherwise similar. If an American asks ‘How are you’, you respond ‘Fine, thankyou’. Its polite. Ask the same of a German, be prepared for truth.
